Philadelphia is home to a year-round calendar of interesting events and festivals that take place all over the city.Here are a few favourite Philadelphia festivals:
- Mummer's Parade on New Year's Day, this colourful festival consists of 15,000 mummers parading through the streets of Philadelphia.

- Popnoise Festival in mid-September is held on the University of Pennsylvania campus and is designed to promote artistic development within the city.
