Information about Fort Lauderdale Festivals
Fort Lauderdale has a busy calendar of events, with some of the most significant being:- Las Olas Art Festival in January sees more than 300 artists from all over the world display their works of art for the massive crowds.
- The Bank of America Wine and Culinary Celebration is held at the Museum of Discovery and Science in April. The event has many chefs from Florida showcasing some of their finest dishes.
- On Friday nights in July, spectators gather at Holiday Park for the Bank of America Starlight Musicals. The open-air stages host concerts from a wide range of different musical genres.
- Held during October and November is the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. More than 100 independent films are shown from American and international directors.
- Fort Lauderdale hosts the Winterfest Boat Parade during December. More than 100 boats parade from the Intercoastal Waterway to Lake Santa Barbara. Many television personalities can be seen joining in the parade.
