Bath maintains a busy events calendar catering to the West Country of England and attracting others from as far as London and beyond.The most notable of the annual events include:
- An antiques fair held in late March on the show grounds at nearby Shepton Mallet
- The famous Badminton Horse Trails held in April each year
- The spectacular hot-air balloon festival held in Victoria Park each May
- The enormous Bath Fringe Festival which attracts thespians and fans for two weeks in May and June
- The National Amateur Gardening Show held in September in Shepton Mallet and attracting huge crowds from all over the West Country
